Apple Event: New Products and Future Announcements

Apple’s "Let Loose" event was held on May 7th to showcase new products and future announcements.This event witnessed a new iPad Pro and iPad Air lineup, Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro as well as new updates of software and accessories. The new iPad Pro is equipped with a new Apple M4 chip which is much faster than the previous versions. The M4 chip ensures that the iPad Pro consumes 50 percent less power as compared to the older models and is capable of processing approximately 38 trillion operations per second with the help of a new Neural Processing Unit(NPU). The iPad Air is powered by Apple’s M2 chip providing more performance and power than the M1 chip. All the products can be purchased online from the Apple website and the Apple Store App.

The new iPad Pro was announced at the latest Apple event and is one of the top highlights of this event. This new iPad features a new Ultra Retina XDR Display using OLED technology for displaying more vibrant and stunning visuals. Available in two versions 11-inch model, 5.33mm thin and 13-inch model,5.1mm thin making it the thinnest Apple Product ever. With two colour options, silver and space black, the 11-inch version starts from £999 and the 13-inch version, from £1299. It has extendable storage options from 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.

The New iPad Pro is installed with a next-generation M4 chip which is AI-ready. The new M4 chip is 4x faster than the M2 chip for better performance. Its CPU has 4 performance and 6 efficiency cores for performing advanced tasks. It also includes a 10-core GPU for efficient working. The M4 chip boosts AI capabilities and provides the best gaming graphics.

The new iPad Air is the redesigned device launched at this event. It features a high-resolution Liquid Retina Display providing rich and color-accurate visuals. Available in two versions the 11-inch, starts from £599 and the 13-inch, £799. It is also available in a variety of beautiful colours from blue, purple, starlight and space grey. It is an economical alternative to iPad Pro.

iPad Air is equipped with the new and improved M2 chip which is 2x faster and provides greater performance than the previous version. It has a faster CPU, GPU and Graphics Speed and additional memory bandwidth. The Final Cut Camera is launched by Apple to allow live multicamera production. Both iPhone and iPad can capture videos from various camera angles and stream the view live for multicam view. It allows you to precisely and manually control each Final Cut camera device with a multiscreen view for effective production and editing.

Apple has announced an update for its digital audio workstation Logic Pro with new AI abilities. The two new features virtual bass player and keyboard player are brilliant for artists creating music. The update will be available from May 13th on the App Store for both iPad and Mac. It will be a free update for the existing users.

The Final Cut Pro is also getting an update as iPad users can now create videos and access various products on external storage without the need to use internal storage for importing media. High-capacity video files cannot be properly edited on internal storage on previous versions. The update will be available in spring on the App Store.

Apple wraps the event by introducing two new iPads, iPad Pro and iPad Air, with Apple Pencil Pro and a New Magic Keyboard. A couple of app upgrades are also seen at this event with Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. The launch also witnessed the most anticipated M4 chip, the latest innovation in processor technology by Apple, which provides unmatched processing power and performance that enables easy muli-tasking and using graphics-intensive applications. The new iPad Pro and iPad Air with Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard are expected to be useful for a diverse range of users such as professionals, artists, students and designers. Apple announced that it will showcase its plans and what's next at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) from 10 June 2024 to 14 June 2024.
